    Tom Licata is not a Republican.  He is an Independent.

    Thank you for your comments! I believe Tom Licata is “officially” an independent, but “unnoficially” he’s a Republican as it’s better to run in his ward this way as people in his ward are less likely to vote for someone who runs a Republican even if they agree with the candidate’s views.
